I’m tired and yawning but as soon as I get settled in bed I can’t get into a good sleep?? I Need some guidance on trying to relax I have a new bed but just want to be able to fall asleep within a half hour or so … some ideas would help
Ashwaganda over long term is problematic; do more of your research on this; the info he gives is insufficient. As for 5HTP, it inhibits the production of the necessary amino acid, l-tyrosine & so one must supplement for it (@ 10x the amt of 5HTP) when taking 5HTP. Finally, as for consulting your health care provider on supplements: lots of luck! the majority of MDs have no training nor, worse, interest in nutritional medicine.

I wouldnt touch ashwagandha if i got it for free. Many many people saying it is very dangerous, and the side effects are awful!

You are saying these supplements work right away but when you look them up it says it takes 3 mos. Please say you are legit. Read the back of a ginseng bottle it says 3 mos. Please explain.
Doctors often don’t know
Ashwaganda made me sadder, for some reason.
I have taken all 6 and none helped. I took 5 of the six at same time too with no effect. Loved Valerian/Hops combo tea, because it made me flatulate.
He says there are different isotopes of ashwaganda. This implies that it is radioactive.
I would be skeptical of this person, who is not trained to prescribe medication’s.

Side effects, this Sleep Dr. never talked about this when recommending things like aswagandha.

Uff, no way I can ever use valerian… It makes me consistently tired. It feels sedative rather than relaxing for me. I strongly dislike it…

Ashwaganda is very bad for people with thyroid disease. I have Hashimotos and tried it before doing my own research. Made me depressed and didn’t help with my sleep. Sorry that he didn’t do his homework.
I landed in the emergency room and 4 days in hospital from ashwanganda. I avoid it like the plague. .

Ashwaganda can lead to poisoning, long term effects are not clear. It has been used to induce abortion.
I drink a lot of Suja Uber Greens cold pressed juice but nowhere on the label does it say it has magnesium. Am i missing something?

Do not listen to this. Seriously just look up a real Dr that has specialized in functional meds like Dr Hyman over 30 yrs, has books you can read and works with real scientists. He saved my life and my microbiome. It is free info to help yourself on his pod casts when he delivers real scientific meds and advice and is science backed and has tried supplements himself. Just dont listen to these jokers. Utube is full of these people, I do not have any affiliations with Dr Hyman. But like said his knowledge saved my life twice! I swear to god he is authentic and can really help
