Not really accurate. As a pharmacologist who specializes in psychoactive substances i can say that 1.beside methamphetamine which is known for causing brain damage via excitotoxicity, the other amohetamines such as dextro or levo amphetamine are actually shown to cause neuroprotective effects in those with adhd and to normalize brain function even after the substance is discontinued. In modafinils case orexin receptors play a HUGE ROLE in modafinils MOA not just NDRI targeting like with methylphenidate, which is selective in that regard so not quite accurate at all in regards to this generalization which is especially, i think, damaging in terms of the thought processes of individuals who NEED THESE MEDICINES TO FUNCTION/OPERATE NORMALLY. Yes stimulants can be highly addictive, but they are not "demon drugs" and have a place in the medicines world just as do other addictive substances such as the opiods/opiates and benzodiazepines. 👀🫣

Modafinil is absolutely NOT an amphetamine period. This guy thinkers he knows more than he actually does. It’s not a combo amphetamine. It’s not even related nor has the same or similar chemical structure to amphetamines
I have Narcolepsy, which unfortunately comes with cognitive issues like recall, memory, clarity, etc… so ive taken all of these… I was taking Vyvanse (70mg, highest recommended dose) and 200mg Modafinil in the mornings, 30mg Adderall around noon, and 10mg Adderall around 4/5pm… all just to stay awake. My insurance investigated me multiple times because on paper, I look like i should be high as hell every day, but i still had breakthrough sleep attacks.
Vyvanse is the only one that I noticed seemed to really help with my cognitive capabilities.

Modafinil is a medium strength stimulant i think its more similar to coffee then amphetamines
